Practical arrangements for the review
The following practical arrangements are required to support the smooth running of the review.
Rooms for the review days
The School or Department is responsible for booking suitable rooms within the School or Department.
Requirements include:
- A main meeting room to act as the base for the review panel, accommodating up to 16 people, with space for lunch and refreshments
- A second room for parallel student meetings on the first day of the review
- Availability of the main room from 08:30 to 17:30, with easy access to the building throughout this time
- Access to power for laptops; extension cables should be provided if required
The Quality team will arrange catering (including lunch and refreshments) through University catering services.
Communications and documentation
MS Teams is used as the primary platform for review-related communication and documentation. A review team is created in Microsoft Teams, with a private channel for each School or Department under for review.
Directors of Teaching (DoTs) are invited to join the main review team and their School or Department’s private channel. Additional colleagues, such as the Head of School or Office Manager will be granted access on request.
The Quality team will upload the following key documents and templates to the private channel:
- Reflective Analysis, evaluative report, action plan, and programme from the previous review.
- Template Reflective Analysis and review programme
- Key dates document providing submission deadlines
The School President will upload the Student Voice document to a separate channel.
