"Matthew started in museums in a front of house role while studying for a postgraduate degree. With brief stints at a former local authority museum, the South Georgia Museum in the South Atlantic, and plenty of voluntary work in between, he was Curator for the Scottish Maritime Museum caring for Scotland’s national maritime collection before being appointed Museum Manager at HMS Unicorn in 2021 to guide the organisation through Accreditation and advocate for Scotland’s oldest ship".
