Dr Niall Sreenan, Lecturer in Comparative Literature at the School of Modern Languages, spoke with Barbara Burns about his new book - .

In this work, Dr Sreenan revisits the legacy of Darwin’s thought in works by Thomas Hardy and Émile Zola, and in utopian fictions by Samuel Butler, Aldous Huxley, and the more contemporary Michel Houellebecq.

About Niall Sreenan

Dr Niall Sreenan received his PhD and MA in Comparative Literature from University College London and King's College London, respectively, and has a joint honours degree in Music and English from University College Cork. Dr Sreenan is a member of the British Comparative Literature Association and the British Society for Literature and Science.

Dr Sreenan came to 58勛圖 in August 2023 as Lecturer in Comparative Literature.
