DESCRIPTION:We are proud to present the Eleventh Session of Film and Philosophy at CEPPA (aka the CEPPA Film Club). \nDear all\,\nNext Thursday (March 26th) you are all invited to the Eleventh Session of Film and Philosophy at CEPPA (aka the CEPPA Film Club). With this event\, we start a special series highlighting the research being conducted in CEPPA. This time\, we will gather from 16:30 onwards to watch and discuss Office Space (1999) with our own Ben Sachs-Cobbe\, who will introduce us to some of the aspects of his research on the future of work project through this film. You can see the trailer here. As per usual\, there will be drinks and snacks from Luvians. Here is a list of suggested readings and videos. \nTo watch:\n\n\nFor a few years\, Alex and Ben were head of something called The Future of Work and Income Research Network. As part of that\, the two of them\, along with a SASP PhD student\, Deryn Thomas\, produced a series of four animated videos on topics regarding work. Those videos\, along with other videos we produced as part of the Network’s activities\, can all be found on YouTube’s Future of Work and Income page.
