It first considers whether supererogation may\u00a0sometimes take precedence over positive and negative duties and how this relates to personal costs\u00a0(including efforts) required to perform one\u2019s duty. It then considers how acquiescence to having large\u00a0costs imposed on one (even permissibly) can be supererogatory.
