The conference seeks to provide a platform for early career researchers working in moral and political philosophy to discuss their work in a collaborative and friendly environment. Submissions should broadly fit the theme of at least one of CEPPA\u2019s current research projects:<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"294\">\n<ul>\n<li>Effective Altruism<\/li>\n<li>Exoplanet Ethics<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge, Democracy, and Public Discourse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"307\">\n<ul>\n<li>Virtue and Character<\/li>\n<li>Human Rights<\/li>\n<li>Blame and Responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Philosophy and Education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>We are delighted to host <strong>Cecile Fabre<\/strong> (Oxford), <strong>Fabienne Peter<\/strong> (Warwick) and <strong>William B\u00fclow<\/strong> (Stockholm Centre for the Ethics of War and Peace) as our keynote speakers.<\/p>\n<p>If you wish to apply, please submit a paper of no more than 4000 words along with a short abstract of no more than 200 words in PDF form to ceppa2020@st-andrews.ac.uk by<strong> February 15<sup>th<\/sup>, 2020.<\/strong> Papers should be suitable for a presentation of approximately 30 minutes. Submissions should be prepared for blind review. We especially encourage submissions from members of underrepresented groups in philosophy.<\/p>\n<p>All accepted papers will receive comments from faculty and postgraduate students from the 58³Ô¹Ï and Stirling Graduate Program in Philosophy (SASP) during the conference. Accepted speakers will be provided with free accommodation with a SASP graduate student in 58³Ô¹Ï.
