Exploring qualitative research methods and theoretical frameworks to advance the research on the intersectionality of female entrepreneurs<\/p>\n

Building on previous successful events held in 2018 and 2020 on Re-thinking female entrepreneurship, we are pleased to announce a two-day conference on qualitative research methods and theoretical frameworks to advance the research on the intersectionality of female entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

The conference will include a number of workshops and presentations on different qualitative research methods as well as theoretical frameworks. The sessions will be delivered by prominent scholars who have strong track record of multiple publications in leading journals.<\/p>\n

As part of the conference, early career researchers (ECRs)\/doctoral students will also have the opportunity to present their work and receive feedback from senior scholars.<\/p>\n

The selection of ECRs presenters will be based on an abstract of 500 words. The deadline for submission is 15 February 2020.<\/p>\n

This conference is funded by the British Academy as part of Rising Star Engagement Award (BARSEA).<\/p>\n

The generous support of the British Academy will allow us to offer the conference free of charge<\/b> with lunch and refreshments included.\u00a0 It will also enable us to offer few funded places<\/b> for ECRs and doctoral students.<\/p>\n

Successful submissions will be considered for the scholarship.<\/p>\n

Funded ECRs are expected to attend the 2 full days.<\/p>\n

The registration of the conference will take place on 17th<\/sup> March at 10.00 am. The conference will start at 10.45 am.<\/p>\n

The first day of the conference will finish at 17.00.<\/p>\n

The second day of the conference will start at 9.00 am and will finish at 15.00 pm.<\/p>\n

Confirmed speakers\/discussants will be Dr Hannah Dean (University of 58³Ô¹Ï), Dr Sally Jones (Manchester Metropolitan University), Dr Gretchen Larsen (Durham University), Prof Claire Leitch (Lancaster University) and Prof. Ruth Woodfield (University of 58³Ô¹Ï).<\/p>\n

We will shortly circulate a full list of the speakers and a detailed conference agenda.<\/p>\n

Scholars who are more advanced in their career are also welcome to attend.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere will be informal and collegial.<\/p>\n
