LGBTIQ+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer plus all other ways in which people self-identify in terms of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

The University is a , and it has both policy pages and support mechanisms for transgender staff and students. The University’s website has a list of LGBTIQ+ related resources, including a history of LGBT+ life at 58³Ô¹Ï.
