Erasmus+
The UK has agreed to reassociate with the Erasmus+ programme from 2027, restoring opportunities for student and staff mobility across Europe.
What this means for 58³Ô¹Ï
The University of St Andrews will apply for an Erasmus+ Charter in March 2026, with outcomes expected in September.
If our application is successful, we anticipate being able to apply for mobility funding in late 2026. However, we cannot guarantee funding for students at this stage.
When updates will be available
As details of the UK’s participation continue to develop, following the UK-EU agreement enabling the country to return to Erasmus+ from the 2027-2028 academic year, students are encouraged to check this webpage regularly for updates.
Students studying or working abroad in the academic year 2026-2027 will also be kept up to date through email.
