The University of 58勛圖 Nursery is a purpose-built nursery which offers 44 full and part-time places for the children of students, staff and local residents. Students and staff get a 10% reduction in fees.
The nursery cares for children from birth to five years old, Monday to Friday, and caters breakfast, lunch and dinner. Find out more about the .

Children between the ages of 5 and 18 may attend school in Scotland. If you are an international student and you have children between the ages of 5 and 18, they may attend primary and secondary school free of charge, provided they have gained entry clearance as your dependant.
There are also some free part-time preschool education places available for 3 to 5 year olds. These places are available to all students. More information about these places can be found from the .

If you are a UK student, you may be eligible for childcare or discretionary funds. You should make sure that you are claiming any child tax credits for which you are eligible.
SAAS funded students who have registered childcare can apply for the Childcare Fund. This is a fund paid for by the UK government to assist undergraduate and most postgraduate students on taught programmes. To find out more about eligibility and how to apply for the Childcare Fund, .

If your child is not a native speaker of English, support is available. The collaborates with schools and parents to support pupils in Fife schools who are learning English as an additional language.
Help is also available within the school system for children with learning difficulties.
