Module description

This module seeks to explore the interrelationship between the Christian doctrine of God, the nature of revelation and the foundational Christian claim that God is not only involved in human history but can be recognised as being so. The course focuses on the claims relating to God’s engagement with humanity in history and the challenge that this poses. Integral to this there will be consideration of the place of exegesis in analytic theology, the epistemological issues raised and the implications for the doctrine of God and the nature of the theological task.
