Module description

This module will look at the rise of Communism and Fascism, Vichy France, the Resistance and l'矇puration. Set texts include: Andri Malraux, La Condition humaine, Georges Bataille, Le Bleu du ciel, Ian Higgins (ed.), Anthology of Second World War Poetry.

Assessment pattern

2-hour Written Examination = 60%, Coursework = 40%
