Module description
This module provides an introduction to a broad range of business concepts and theories. It analyses the goals, processes, and operations of business enterprises. The first part of the module considers the legal environment in which a business operates and the importance of business ethics. The second part analyses the strategies and risks of a business operating in a global environment. The third part examines the use of financial information for the management of the firm. Real life case studies will be presented. The module aims to provide students with an understanding of the basic principles of business that they can develop further in their future studies.
