Module description
The module coordinatorator would like to make a small amendment to the module descriptor. This is the NEW description:This module examines the European Union (EU) from a variety of perspectives derived from major theories/concepts of international relations and comparative politics. It considers the EU as a key reference point in the foreign/security/defence policies of EU member states, as a major centre of gravity in Europe's regional neighbourhood, and as an important global actor. The module also considers the EU's relations with competing actors, its position within international organisations, and the tensions between EU and member state interests.
