Module description

The module explores the history and dynamics of Russian imperialism. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, many now recognise it as Russia’s dominant ideology. Apart from probing into the current political situation, the module will look at Russian imperialism and colonialism during the 20th and 21st centuries.

BEFORE TAKING THIS MODULE, STUDENTS MUST HAVE SATISFIED THE HONOURS ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AS DETERMINED BY THE SCHOOL OF HISTORY.

Coursework = 60%, Examination = 40%
