The Scottish Credit Accumulation and Transfer (SCOTCAT) system allows credits gained in Scotland to be transferred between institutions. The number of credits associated with a module gives an indication of the amount of learning effort required by the learner. Module description

This module offers a thorough grounding in the philosophy of normativity. Topics covered in the module will typically include how normativity manifests itself with respect to belief, action, and emotion, and the normativity of truth, logic, and meaning. The module will also explore the connections between normativity, value, and rationality, as well as reduction claims with respect to normativity.
