Module description

This module is encouraged to prepare students for work. To do this, it supports students to identify and secure their own work placement / employment, giving them valuable experience that will enhance their employability. It will develop their learning trajectories, supporting them to connect learning from the classroom to their work experiences, whether that be on formal internships, placements, or employment in local businesses. Students will be supported to reflect upon that placement / employment – both in relation to how they present themselves and their skills, but also how they position themselves and their aspirations. Teaching will be reflexive, seeking to create a horizontal and collaborative environment, with the intent to support students develop their reflexive practice as they enter the last year of their studies.
