Before you arrive

You can apply for accommodation 48 hours after you receive and accept your conditional or unconditional offer of a place to study at the University. Postgraduates are able to apply for a specific hall of residence. Accommodation is available in 58勛圖, Leuchars and Dundee.

Your University email address is yourusername@st-andrews.ac.uk. Your username is included in your entrant email and you'll create your password when you open your account.

Upload your ID photo before you arrive and collect your card from a collection point in 58勛圖.

Once you arrive

You must register with a doctor (called a ‘general practitioner’ or ‘GP’) if you are studying in person at the University of 58勛圖 for 12 weeks or more.

The matriculation event takes place in the Gateway building during orientation week. Check what ID and other documents you need to bring with you.
