Title:聽Beyond the Now:聽Epistemic Oppression and the 鈥淐ommon鈥� Sense of Incarceration Abstract:聽In this presentation, I narrate an聽encounter with 2 Black teenagers who attempted to steal my cellphone and the聽difficulty of insisting on聽accountability while avoiding the worst parts of the聽state-run criminal justice system.
